We Built FairPath Because Remote Care Should Heal — Not Just Bill
We are Justin (CEO and founder), Matt (CTO and founder), and Flavio (Chief Marketing Officer) behind Intelligence Factory and FairPath.
Over the last decade, we bootstrapped one of the earliest large-scale, profitable remote patient monitoring programs in the country—going from zero to tens of thousands of patients and eight-figure annual revenue without a dollar of outside capital.
We shipped devices, hired nurses, built billing engines, integrated with major EHRs, and helped thousands of physicians add recurring, between-visit care to their practices. We proved the model works. We also saw where it breaks.
We Proved Remote Care Works. Then We Saw Its Limits.
As we scaled, something became impossible to ignore: most of the value we were creating was flowing to the middleman instead of the doctors and patients doing the actual caring.
Physicians told us every week: “I love what this does for my patients, but I hate giving away 70 percent of the revenue and still being the one liable if something goes wrong.”
That is when it clicked: the mission was not to run remote-care programs on behalf of physicians. The mission was to put the keys back in their hands.
So we took everything we learned over ten years—the clinical workflows, reimbursement rules, payer quirks, and audit war stories—plus sixteen years of building ontology-driven AI for messy, real-world healthcare data, and built something completely different.
FairPath Is the Platform We Wish We Had on Day One
FairPath is not a call center or a revenue-share vendor. It is the software stack that lets your team run APCM, RPM, RTM, and CCM in-house, with compliance and AI baked into the workflow instead of bolted on at the end.
Compliance, Encoded
Program and payer rules are encoded directly into FairPath so you are not relying on “hopefully someone read the latest CMS update.” Code stacking, time thresholds, and program concurrency are enforced in software before a claim is ever generated.
Deterministic, Explainable AI
FairPath uses deterministic, ontology-driven AI rather than opaque black boxes. Every task, minute, and alert is tied to a specific clinical reason and an auditable record, so you can show exactly why something happened if a payer or auditor asks.
One Calm Dashboard
Instead of five portals, four spreadsheets, and 2 a.m. anxiety, you get one command center. Priority queues show who needs outreach, which APCM months are incomplete, which RPM patients are short on days, and which claims are ready to go out the door.
Margin Stays With the Clinic
Practices stop giving away forty to seventy percent of remote-care revenue to middlemen. The liability already lives with you; FairPath is structured so the margin lives with you too. Our fees are transparent software pricing, not a cut of your collections.
Patients get better care because the physician who knows them best is the one steering the program, not an outsourced script.
The Second Act: Empower Independent Medicine
We are still the same team that figured out how to make remote care profitable at national scale. We just decided the second act should empower independent medicine instead of replacing it.
Remote care was never meant to be a billing gimmick with a device attached. It was meant to let great doctors stay independent, spend more time with patients between visits, and get paid fairly for keeping people healthy, not just for reacting when they are sick.
That is what we built FairPath to do.
If you believe the future of medicine belongs in the hands of physicians, not corporations or middlemen, you are in the right place.
Let us build it together.
